On Wednesday Jan 3 2017 we have prepared very special show for you with amazing lineup of 4 Toronto Based Artists
Savvy Records channels the omniscient spirit of it’s creators, and exists in the minds and souls of it’s lovers. In art galleries, studios, bars, restaurants, clubs and warehouses, underground and above, whether illuminating the dance-floor or playing in the background, it’s always about amusement.
Boy Pussy is a Canadian house and techno DJ/producer. They became a staple of Toronto’s queer underground after their DJ debut in 2013. Their artful mix of erotic techno and classic house evolved during frequent sets at transgressive queer parties such as Pornothèque, Blood Sweat & Queers, and Bruce LaBruce’s AGO First Thursday.
Their debut single “Unisex” was released on Play Records in January 2015. Boy Pussy has continued to explore themes of gender and sex roles on follow-up singles such as acid house banger “Suck Me Off” and deep house throbber “Daddy”. They also run the independent record label Wet Trax, launched to represent Toronto’s queer dance music microcosm and beyond.
Malcolm bought his first vinyl record in 2011, and it’s all been downhill since then. With a collection that spans techno, house, acid, disco, new wave, and other oddities, Malcolm likes to play diverse sets that do a little exploring within and between genres.
Sometimes socialite, sometimes selector; who exactly is Valeroo, and what does she do? Whether it is going out to party or for syncing music, it is towards the soul, disco, house, tech(no) spectrum that makes her happy. Hopefully what she likes, you will enjoy too: and we can all be dancing together. Don’t miss Valeroo! =D
