Spinforce – born in Detroit, living in Toronto. He decided to call himself Spinforce because of the power of the music he was spinning would create a force that compelled people to move their bodies and dance.
In the late 1980s he began to DJ, highly motivated by the outstanding quality of music and variety of so many genres that were emerging during that period.
Spinforce specialized in playing house music because it instills the best aspects of 1970s and 1980s dance music and rare grooves with strong African and tribal elements. Tech-house is another one of his favourite spins as it contains all the aesthetics of house music and is paired with the mechanized industrial sound synced and composed in a perfect harmony.
Spinforce has become embedded in the Toronto underground music scene, spinning at many Yorkville theme parties, various night clubs and afterhour sessions and the downtown party district which includes the clubs of King Street West and Richmond Street, and the scene on College Street and in Little Italy.
His goal is to one day own his own club where people can go to hear unique and deeper sounds.
